SA Lions – AFLSA Talent outlook
- Historically, the footyWILD talent pathway has led to the SA Lions National team which competes regularly at the AFL’s International Cup in Australia against more than 20 countries from around the world
- Prior to COVID-19, the SA Lions has competed at every AFL International Cup since 2002, with a best finish of 3rd in 2008*
- The team has also competed against many Australian touring teams in SA over the last 20 years
- With the right partners on board, AFLSA is looking forward to competing at the AFL U17 Pacific Cup in Maroochydore (Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia) in Nov, 2024
