NW ACADEMY OF SPORTS
The North West Academy of Sport provides funding and in-kind support for Talented players in the North West Province, an agreement which extends to regular scientific testing of players at the High Performance Institute in Potchefstroom. AFL is one of eleven recognised sports on the Academy roster.
The North-West Sports Academy, located within the School of Biokinetics, Recreation and Sport Science at the University of North-West in Potchefstroom, is credited with making a huge contribution to the development of sport in the province. It is a partner of the High Performance Institute at the University. This development initiative is supported by the provincial Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.
