The Oaktree Foundation is a partner of the AFL in Australia and also enjoys a healthy relationship with the AFL in South Africa, where the majority of its community development activity occurs. The Oaktree and AFLSA have joined forces on numerous occasions to promote positive lifestyle messages particularly to visiting Australian tour groups such as the West Coast Eagles. The Oaktree organisation plays an important role in AFL school-based tours of South Africa offering young Australians with a unique insight to the social challenges that face young South Africans on a daily basis. We’re young, we’re passionate and we’re committed to working in partnership to fight the reality of poverty.

The Oaktree Foundation is an entirely youth run aid and development organisation. We are driven by young people under the age of 26. We believe that education is the key to making lasting change.
