NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS ROUND 1 KICKED-OFF WITH A BANG
‘Most of the juniors took part at the Geminder Youth Camp that took place last month in Potchefstroom and seeing them coming back to excel against their peers and also getting an opportunity to step up and play for their provincial senior team was truly good results we were hoping to achieve’: said Benjamin Motuba, AFL South Africa Development Coach
Gauteng Blues vs North West Dockers - 19th May 2012
The First round of National Championships kicked-off in style this past weekend in Potchefstroom.
North West Dockers had their home match hosting Gauteng Blues. Both teams had an opportunity to involve junior players which was very exciting. The day started well with junior teams playing against each other before the senior game started.
The North West Dockers junior team was too strong for the Gauteng Blues junior team where they didn’t get an opportunity to score even a single goal.
